I have a six-year-old female cocker spaniel. She is food motivated to the point where all she does is search for and devour anything and everything. I have tried the kong, chew toys, you name it. I took her to obedience classes for two years. The instructor actually wanted to hire me to train a class. I have accepted and adjusted for her behavior. I have always had dogs and never one like this.I was wondering if there was a medication or some other way to calm her quest for food. I have 2 other dogs too. She has no interest in them either way. Just thought I'd ask. Thank you.

A shelter pup has found a calling as an ambassador to teach animal welfare with the Humane Society.
Now she’s a tail-wagging ambassador for the society — and other animals like her.
She and McGuigan — who is also the society’s education coordinator — visit schools, senior citizen sites, day care centers and other venues to teach people about proper pet care and all facets of animals, from how to be safe around strange dogs to what neglect investigations are.
